​We will be exploring the differences between North American and Taiwanese health and medicinal practices. We are interested in Taiwanese culture and how its history has shaped its modern approach to healing the human body. We plan on interviewing people of various ages and occupations, gaining insight into their daily health routines and their preferred method of remedying illnesses. We will look for commonalities and differences between Taiwanese and North American people.

I AM MORE INTERESTED IN BEING ABLE TO CONVERSE WITH AN OLDER GENERATION WHO RELY MORE STRONGLY ON TAIWANESE CULTURE AND PRACTICES. THIS IS WHERE I BELIEVE WE CAN GAIN QUALITATIVE INFORMATION ON “EASTERN” MEDICINE.
