What:
I am going to be looking at photography in Taiwan. Based on my initial research I will decide which direction I will go forward with my project depending on the rules and restrictions involved with photography and art studios in Taiwan. At the moment I am going to look at photography based in different subculture groups in Taiwan and compare them to each other. This will help me find the commonalities in Taiwan photography as well as specifics based in the subcultures I look into.
Why:
I find photography very interesting as an art form. It can portray many different stories and meanings based on both what is in the photo as well as who is taking it. By looking into photography in Taiwan I intend to look also into the people involved on both sides of the camera.
Plan:
My initial plan is to break up the first three vlogs into three subculture groups (yet to be decided). This allows me to take a more analytical approach to my final vlog; examining each previous vlogs findings to each other and potentially find a connection between them should there be one.
因为我喜欢做照片, 所以我将完成关于摄影的最终项目. 我觉得摄影很有意思。照片漂亮漂亮的,很有意思。我将在三个地方看照片. 我很高兴看照片。
REFLECTIONS
I found, while interesting, photography exhibits often included other forms of artwork; including paintings, videos, audio recordings, and sculptures. By choosing a broader topic I am able to look at the broader messages and themes through entire art exhibits rather then limiting myself to a singular art form.
